Heavy Equipment Operator

Lake of the Woods County Public Works Department, Baudette, MN is inviting applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Public Works Department.

GENERAL DUTIES:

Incumbent operates various heavy construction and maintenance equipment as assigned for the construction and maintenance of County State Aid, County and unorganized Township roads and bridges.  Responsibilities also include maintenance and repair of equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 18 years old
Three years experience in operation & maintenance of heavy equipment for construction and maintenance of gravel and bituminous roads, or equivalent
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Class A (CDL) Minnesota Driver’s License

Starting Salary: $24.12 hourly plus an excellent benefit package
