Temporary Engineering Technician

LAKE OF THE WOODS COUNTY INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF

TEMPORARY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Public Works Department

GENERAL DUTIES:

Candidate will assist on county highway projects.  Candidate will perform construction inspection and observation, conduct site surveys and assist in routine maintenance/labor on county projects.  This job assignment will begin at the end of May/Early June, 2025 and will go until end of August/early September 2025.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Must be 18 years old to operate power equipment

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Valid Class D Minnesota Driver’s license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Strong interest in civil engineering or schooling/backing in civil engineering

·         Past experience with Trimble survey equipment and Autodesk software

Salary: $18.83-$23.30
