Seasonal Summer Server/Bartender

Hennum’s Oak Island Lodge is a family-owned fishing resort that accommodates up to 70 guests offering lodging, a restaurant, bar, and guided fishing services during the summer and winter, 9 months of the year. We are located at the very top of Minnesota at the Northwest Angle of Minnesota, 40 miles north of Baudette, Mn on the legendary Lake of the Woods.

We are looking to fill one more position for our summer season May through mid October with an option to come back for the winter mid December through mid March.

The job is full time and includes a variety of tasks including bartending and food serving.

Tasks: Server: Food Server: Take menu orders, serve guests, set tables, use a point of sale computer system, keep work areas clean, and provide excellent customer service.  Bartend: Take food and beverage orders in an efficient and timely matter, mix drinks, and stock, keep the bar clean, use the point of sale/computer system, and provide excellent customer service.

Hours/Days: Varies

Experience helpful but will train. Must be at least 18 years or older.

Getting Here: We can arrange pickup at Wheeler’s Point/Baudette, MN, or Young’s Bay at Angle Inlet, MN, and get you to the island. A passport is required for the Angle Inlet pick up location.  From Baudette no international border is required to be crossed.  We are located in Minnesota but to get to Angle Inlet, you need to drive through Canada.  Have a few days off and want to get off the island? Transportation services available or bring your own boat or snowmobile.
