Registered Nurses with CHI LakeWood Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health,have a variety of skills from clinical to project management. In our 15-bed Critical Access Hospital, you will be exposed to the emergency department, acute care (Med/Surg), swing bed, surgery, outpatient treatment, and so much more!

We are seeking a responsible and compassionate RN with top-notch clinical skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to thrive in a mulit-disiplinary environment.

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients undergoing chemo and non-chemo infusions and injections, insertion of mid-lines and peripherally inserted central catheters.
Maintains and provides care of ports and catheters used for infusions.
Applies knowledge of current treatment modalities to patient care.
Administers infusions/injections, testing and line insertions according to institutional policy, standards, and guidelines.
Answers phones, schedules patients, maintains patient experience, and upholds core values and mission.
Provides patients and families with emotional support, information and guidance during treatment.
Educate patients and families in areas of health and illness that maintain optimum levels of physical and emotional functioning.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Registered Nurse (RN) License that allows you to practice in Minnesota
New grads welcome
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Chemo certification within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous chemo nursing experience
